RadNet has announced the acquisition of cloud-native healthcare image management solutions provider CIMAR UK.
The company will become part of RadNet’s wholly owned subsidiary DeepHealth, a company engaged in AI-driven health informatics, for advancing connected imaging-based care.
The collaboration aims to strengthen data connectivity, interoperability and AI-powered reporting and screening across UK public and private healthcare settings.
CIMAR’s image management system enables vendor-neutral solutions, including clinical AI, across over half of the National Health Service Trusts and many private hospital groups in the UK.
The acquisition merges CIMAR’s cloud-native infrastructure and services with DeepHealth’s end-to-end informatics applications. This expanded platform is designed to facilitate coordinated and accessible care.
DeepHealth digital health division CEO and president Kees Wesdorp said: “Imaging and diagnostics sit at the forefront of care, serving as the gateway to treatment and disease management. Radiologists and care teams are under immense pressure, often working with outdated or siloed tools, and are not set up to keep pace with rising demand.

The partnership between CIMAR and DeepHealth currently supports NHS England’s Lung Cancer Screening Program.
CIMAR’s digital infrastructure links DeepHealth’s AI lung solution to the majority of screening locations, reportedly resulting in earlier detection.
With the acquisition, DeepHealth plans to extend this connected, digitally enabled care model to further screening and diagnostic initiatives across Europe and the UK, providing broader access to timely medical imaging.
