Clinician Nexus and TriHealth to advance healthcare education

Clinical workforce technology company Clinician Nexus has announced a strategic alliance with TriHealth in the US for advancing healthcare education.

The partnership also aims to expedite TriHealth’s efforts to support healthcare professionals within its complete network.

TriHealth’s portfolio includes four acute care hospitals and over 140 locations.

TriHealth academic partnerships administrator Dawn-Marie Kelly said: “After a thorough evaluation of multiple software platforms, TriHealth selected Student Management from Clinician Nexus for its intuitive interface, strong compliance tracking, and seamless integration with existing systems.

“It stood out as the most scalable and sustainable solution for a complex academic health system.”

The collaboration with Clinician Nexus is set to offer enhanced efficiency in handling clinical rotations across the TriHealth system.

It will provide cloud-based tools for efficient scheduling, onboarding, workforce planning, and assessments to benefit students, schools, and hospital staff.

Key features of the partnership include centralised scheduling and capacity management for all learner types within the healthcare environment.

The partnership will also provide automated communication, tailored induction processes, and comprehensive data monitoring and reporting.

In addition, students, schools, and hospital staff will benefit from enhanced partnerships with academic institutions via a shared platform.

Clinician Nexus president and CEO Ted Chien said: “The staff at TriHealth are forward-thinking leaders and great partners in clinical education.

“We are eager to help support the Cincinnati community and look forward to a strong partnership in facilitating the education, training, and recruitment processes as they build out their future workforce.”

In June 2025, TriHealth’s network growth was marked by its acquisition of Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, Ohio, US, adding a sixth acute care hospital to its expanding system.

“Clinician Nexus and TriHealth to advance healthcare education” was originally created and published by Hospital Management, a GlobalData owned brand.
