Is money the root of all evil? Can money buy happiness? Do you want to be rich? How managers can plan, organize, and control their organizations’ most precious asset

Money is the motion lotion, the go-go juice, and the equivalent of Austin Powers’ mojo for individuals, families, and businesses. There are countless examples of poor money management, both unintentional and criminal, which resulted in irreparable harm to families and businesses. Without money, our personal and business lives grind to a halt. Yet, money can slip through our fingers if not managed properly. How can today’s managers use financial management and budgeting tools to manage this precious asset?

In this webinar, attendees will explore:

  • Examples of criminal financial fraud and their impact on stakeholders’ lives
  • Examples of how irresponsible cash management led to avoidable insolvency and financial ruin
  • How the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and its Canadian equivalent protect Canadians from fraud
  • How recent inflation and Bank of Canada Monetary Policy has impacted families and businesses
  • Accounting tools managers can use to support their financial decision-making
  • Money management tools managers can use to plan, organize, and control the use of funds
